Our Purpose
is to protect life and property from loss,
suffering and damage due to fire, and environmental emergencies within
the community through public education, code management and incident

Newark is an
all Volunteer Fire Department. Volunteer's made up within the four
companies that provides not only the obvious function of fire
suppression; we are also involved with numerous other prevention and
protection tasks. Some of these tasks include emergency public
information during natural disasters, fire safety inspections and code
enforcement, communications, public education, fire training, vehicle
rescue (extrication), facilities, apparatus and equipment upkeep and
repair. Our equipment and apparatus is state of the art provided by the
Village of Newark.
We take pride in our Firefighters their
training and abilities in the Fire Service.
