Lannon, Lee - Lee E. Lannon, 63, of Newark,
died June 9, 2003 at Rochester General Hospital. Lee was born June 25,
1939 in Clifton Springs, son of Leon and Mary Thompson Lannon. He
graduated in 1957 from Clifton Springs High School. He was a member of
the United Methodist Church in Clifton Springs. He owned and operated
Lanlee Farms in Newark for 40 years, and for several years worked at
Willowbend Farms in Clifton Springs. He was a past delegate to Upstate
Farms and a member of numerous farm organizations. Lannon served as
president of the Arcadia Hose Company and treasurer of the Newark Fire
Department. He is a past chief of the East Palmyra Fire Department and
member of the Wayne County Fire Chiefs Association. An avid Yankee fan,
he enjoyed watching baseball and basketball and being with his
grandkids. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Carol Trickey Lannon;
two sons, Lee Jr. (Amy) and Bob (Dawn); five grandchildren, Tim, Erica,
Tommy, Matthew and Andrew, all of Newark |
